I went in expecting the level of creativity would take a hit since it was anticipated to be a 'back filler' of sorts given Marvel's commitment to doing the film.
The first part of the film was quite dark through the opening credits. If some are good with their younger kids watching Marvel, their kids might be asking quite a few questions or have some confusion on the matter.
Taskmaster was a bit of a disappointment given it is a great character in the comics, but it used as the device as part of 'clearing the past/the red ledger', it was fine.
I guess my overall take was that it was a fun ride. A bit light on dialogue and story and a little too heavy on action sequences. I guess it wasn't a gross departure from my expectations.
I figured it would be fine and it was fine, but nothing that I'll be revisiting in the same way where I may watch one of the other stand-along character films.
I'm assuming Valetina or whatever her name is is putting together the Thunderbolts? the anti-hero group?
