I don’t think anyone ever “mistakenly” forgot to go hunt down a wild animal for dinner and then a grocery store pounced and offered to save them from starvation for price. That is a choice. Grocery store offers convenience and people are willing pay them for that not because they made a mistake. Just because a practice is legal doesn’t make it ethical.
