I was taking my two friends camping (one had never been). I didn't reserve a campsite, but heard there were multiple campsites up provo canyon. So we loaded up our stuff and drove up there to find a campsite. We were trying to go to Deer creek state park, but instead took the wrong turn and went to Provo river resorts. When I went there (2017) it was a privately owned camper park. I entered and quickly learned it was an private RV park with a lot of older people.

The speed limit was 15 in the park, and once you enter, you can't turn around. You have to go through the whole park. So I went around 20mph through the park and around the loop. At the end of the loop someone had put up a barrier, so I had my friend (who's a girl). Get out and move the barrier. There were some senior citizens sitting next to the barrier and as she got back in the car they threw cans at her (I like to think they were beer cans but idk how true that is). So we drove a little quicker and we're on the home stretch to get out, when a man stands in the middle of the road and puts his hand up, commanding us to stop. I stop and he yells at me to get out of the car.

I put it in park and get out and he just starts yelling at me. How I was driving too fast and this is private property and on and on and on. In the end he asks me if I'm a BYU student, I say yes and he starts talking about how I should present myself better and all this crap. I just agree with him until he's done. Once he finishes he says he likes me (probably because I took it like a Beta) and says he has a friend in the econ department at byu that I can talk to if I want (which didn't help me at all cuz I was in chemsitry). He finally lets us leave and I drive 5 mph out of the camp.

ps. we did go camping that night and I ended up kissing the girl (my first kiss) but that's a story for another time.
