The pullouts on Going to the Sun Road were usually open. The road was not overly crowded. Parking at
Avalanche Creek was awful--it took forever and some aggressiveness to find something (but worth it--the hike to Avalanche Lake is a great hike); Logan Pass took a few turns around the parking lot before we could get something. Overall, I think the ticketed entry helps.
Heads up, pack food. Lots of food establishments in West Glacier and Mary's Lake were closed (staffing issues, they say).

Yellowstone NP is my favorite national park overall, but just got back from Glacier NP and it is definitely the

I can't disparage Yosemite--it is beautiful. Top 5 park. But Glacier is even better. Here are some exhibits.
