The way it has been, the first time a ticket is used they take your photo, and
then each time later it is scanned that photo pops up on their screen so they can confirm the same person is using it each time.

They started doing this because a while back companies would go buy 5 day park hoppers, and then sell only a few days worth to one person, and the rest to someone else. The price per day was much less this way.

I’m sure the change was partially made to protect Disney to receive full admission price, but a lot of people were getting scammed being sold tickets that ended up not having any days left on the pass, and acting like Disney should let them in anyway because they paid for a ticket, even though it wasn’t directly from Disney.

I haven’t been since pandemic, so not sure if they are still doing this, but I would assume they would be.
