I don’t know about other CBers you are referring to, but I posted that “it’s not the worst thing of Winston starts the
Season off as QB1.”
Of course if Taysom wins the job he wins the job, but silver lining is he still is extremely useful for his team in his role as Swiss army, and if Winston shows his turnover touch, Taysom will be able to step in and prove why he should be the starter long term.
If Taysom just outperforms Jameis in preseason and camp then he deserves to be QB1 from day one.
