My classmates are easily getting hired into their top choice departments - ED, ICU, etc

Often nurses need experience in med-surg or other less desirable departments before getting more coveted positions, but anecdotally I'm seeing new grads having no issues getting hired.

She wants to do Labor & Delivery. Not sure if that's a coveted position or not.

L&D is pretty coveted. After ICU and Emergency, Labor & Delivery was the most highly desired among my cohort.
