I don't know how much of it was me though.

I did my interview and afterwards one of the ladies asked if I've been there before. I said I've been a few times with my dad picking stuff up. I said his name and the lady was like "I love (name of dad)". She then told the owner who my dad was and for the next thirty minutes he shows me around the place. The whole time we're walking he's gushing about my dad. I knew my dad knew him but I didn't want to get the job by name only. My dad has had a working relationship for 30 years with the owner.

I'm kind of sad about leaving my current job though. I told my boss that I need to talk with her tomorrow and she was super sad. She said she heard me talking about an interview with my coworker last week and knew it must've gone well.
