Had a buddy invite me to go fishing and even though I haven't done it in a long time it sounds like it could be fun.
I no longer have ANY fishing gear/tackle. I have access to WalMart, a smaller Sportsman's, Big5, and Amazon.
Not really interested in the cheapest gear that won't even get me though the day but, I'm not sure if I'll catch or when the next time I go would be.
What brands might I look at that are more affordable but, will serve me well? Any rods/reels/tackle packages that are a good idea here?
This isn't fly fishing BTW. He said we'd be on a lake on a crappy boat.
