McCall the day before? Seems a bit of a hike, but I appreciate all of this detail. I've never driven up that way before and have traversed a fair amount of the U.S.

Could be but most likely not. Problem is there's not a great route w/ freeways much of the way.

Yes, but Spokane is better. Not a bad drive from there. The highway from I-84 north will suck the life out of you.

Weather-wise, not bad. Road-wise, it would suck. Hwy 95 from Boise to Moscow/Pullman is pretty, but very desolate.

Google says 11 hrs but IC gives a good description. McCall is bit off track but a much nicer drive— beautiful, in fact.
