Which is interesting. June/July they have nothing else to compete with.
Starting in Oct, the first 3-4 months they are combating football and then also March madness.
Starting in Dec gives them the spotlight for the holiday season to start the season and then puts the playoffs/finals in June-July where they are really just competing with mid season baseball.
