I've seen worse arms start at BYU. Riley, Shoemaker. Maybe even Detmer.
Really, I like kids like this. He's got a dream & he's givin it his all for two teams as a walkon when he was PLENTY talented enough to get good opportunities at smaller schools on scholarship.
Kids like this are much more likely to be good --rather than bad-- for team chemistry. Generally they come in --work their tails off-- & expect nothing till it comes.
And eventually many are persuaded to switch positions.
