I realize the scale is different, but how many people could I feed if I didn't buy a truck last year? Sobering, if I want to torture myself like that. I mean, every time I go out to eat with my wife and drop $60, how many stomachs in an incredibly poor place could I have filled if I either fasted that meal or just ate a PBJ?

Technology, especially on the scale of going to space, is very expensive. We have to see that as an investment into the future, which betters all lives.
