School in CA and the dad praised the kid when he was playing defense and other aspects of the offense… When his kid stopped performing and Billoups took over, he added a whole new dimension… the guy made a decision. That ultimately ended up punishing the school and every kid on the team (including his own son, which he had to transfer because of it)… he warned that if his son didn’t start he would report the team…

I get what you’re getting at, but he’s not a martyr in this.. he was willing to punish a bunch of innocent people because of his own pride.. he was not acting out of righteousness
