If that works effectively (and I think it eventually can), this could focus our engineers on solutioning rather than the tedious part of their job. There will be a greater need than ever for good software engineers as the possibilities grow exponentially.

I would liken this to the old car manufacturing world where it took an incredible budget and thousands of engineers to design and manufacture a single car. Computers and manufacturing automation have shortened the time and expense to less than half and it is shrinking every year. We don't have fewer people working on cars, but more than ever before because the public demands more niche options.
