finals validate a choice to chase that dream and get a spot on that team even if it is just playing in practice and playing in garbage time?

I kind of feel like it is validating to his legacy...nobody can take that ring away from him. Even if he does go and play in europe for the rest of his career he got to experience being on a playoff team that went all the way. What a ride that must have been even if it was only once in his life.
