1. Arizona and ASU would make more money since the Big 12 payouts are a bit higher.
2. Arizona and ASU have not had much success in the Pac12 relative to when they were in the WAC.
3. They don't always see eye to eye with the west coast schools on the direction of the conference but don't have much say in how it's run.

I'm not saying these are necessarily accurate but only what I've read in the past.
