If the issue was and is “No Sunday play” then why exactly would BYU be a part of any conversations regarding conference
realignment? If Sunday play was the holdup in prior conversations, it’s completely illogical to believe they’d go another round just to say “oh yeah, that’s right — you guys are the school that won’t play on Sundays, that’s right!”

Yet BYU was the only school west of Texas to have a full season last year. Athletics matter to BYU and the BOT
