To add to that, I would argue that with the expansion of the college football
playoff, I would assume that the focus would be on trying to maximize "shares" of the CFP revenue which would most likely come by making moves to ensure your league is as competitive on a national level as possible (and by competitive I mean top-level, playoff-bid competitive).

Additionally, when it comes to TV revenue, I think we are going to see a shift away from analyzing schools based on market size and draw, geographic footprint, etc. and toward looking as subscriber draw, etc. IOW, it's no more about market penetration for cable subscription fees, etc. and much more about expanding your digital footprint.
