I had a similar problem a few months ago. Saw my doctor, who referred my to my
urologist. The pain was both on the inside of my thigh and on my lower abdomen. The abdominal pain could possibly have been a hernia or something else in that area, so the urologist was the first step. The urologist ordered a CT scan, and getting the results from that scan was very worthwhile. I knew that the pain was not coming from anything having to do with male parts, etc. The uro then sent me to a specialist in pelvic Physical Therapy. This specialty is not available in many places, as pelvic floor PT is very different from other PT, apparently. The PT people had the scan results so they knew there was nothing major going on, and the pain was just from some muscle tears.

Summary: If your insurance allows, go for the easiest way to get a CT scan and pelvic PT. I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on TV, so get real medical advice.

Good luck with it.
