Most sports are seemingly pointless and boring if you don't know the rules, or what constitutes a high level performance. Once again, I don't expect people to like any sport they aren't familiar with... my only hope is that they will respect the athletes and their dedication to their craft.

The equestrians train incredibly hard, often to complete physical and mental exhaustion... for decades... to reach the Olympic games. There's no need to belittle them or their sport through mischaracterizations.
