Pretty detailed reddit analysis of financials surrounding the TX/Okla departures
TLDR: as you would expect,
1) B12 schools are poorly positioned to give Texas/Oklahoma larger shares to match SEC w/out blowing up their budgets and 2) without those two the B12 conf value is crap, and 3) Kansas, the biggest remaining revenue school and will be floundering without them.
