So it was morally correct if you were in the group, but what about those outside the group?

Similar to B12 fans today declaring that if their team is left out, the sport is dead and they won't watch anymore. What about all the teams their teams screwed over through the years?

Everyone acts in their best interest and in the long-run, it's not looking so good for the sport — at least as we know it.
