Remember McMurphy is a huge Oklahoma State Alumni booster and....
...he has NEVER SPOKEN WELL of BYU.
Some who know him wonder if he isn't somewhat bigoted for religious reasons.
His mentioning philosophy is veiled religious bigotry. BYU is faith based, opposes progressive Marxism, Abortion and many things that leftists love. His beloved Oklahoma State ranks 358, 268 spots lower than BYU academically. I think that reality is that's his big fear As pointed out in the really good FAN-SIDE article, Oklahoma State and BYU stack up well in terms of Athletic Departments, but the academic hit is huge in my opinion.
