I think for the PAC, there is value to add these teams to their conference...
If the PAC adds 2 or 4 of them...

1. It puts the PAC into the central time zone, which is a big deal for the PAC. Right now, almost nobody on the East Coast watches any PAC games... the PAC channel was a failure, mostly because it was only offered in the west. And the games put on it where never really that good and the better games were on TV at 10pm Easter time zone. Screeching the PAC to the Central time zone fixes that issue for them.

2. It gives the PAC a foot print in the midwest and in Texas. Yes... it's a small foot print, but it's a foot print nonetheless... the MWC added TCU and the conference, from that add, did see a bump in Texas recruiting.

It's not going to surprise me at all if the BIG10 and the ACC don't move at all... the ACC really won't move until Notre Dame will... and the BIG10 is already in a great spot financially, only Texas and OU could improve upon that. In fact there is a better chance right now that the SEC makes more moves and takes from the ACC... if that happens, then we'll see movement. They were saying this morning on the radio that the SEC has had their eyes on North Carolina and Virginia Tech for some time now.

I could see the PAC making a move, but the rest staying put. The problem with the BIGXII teams possibly staying and trying to rebuild the conference is that it's going to be unstable for quite some time now. The rest of the BIGXII are going to be looking to leave 24/7 365 days a year... they are not going to be settled in 100% to a rebuilt conference without a major program holding the conference up. The ACC and BIG10 may not expand now, but it's a real possibly in the future and how many BIGXII teams go then? And if they go... and the conference does expand... what happens to the rest of the teams then?
