It does make sense. Of course, Texas and Oklahoma were the PAC's best option

But, that ship is sailing away...BUT, the PAC absolutely would benefit from teams in Texas and the Central time zone.

So, the PAC can now move confidently and swiftly to Plan B, which would surprise no one to include Texas Tech. My hunch is the PAC will go after Kansas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and TCU...with Houston, and perhaps even Rice, and Iowa State and Kansas State as back up.
