Why not add BYU as a bowl partner? BYU wants to tie in to better bowls. I know bowls are basically going away with CFP, but it’s something to stay on top of. Alternatively, maybe certain bowls that have ties with the big 12 on the off chance they pick up Texas may be interested in teaming directly with BYU.

Next, scheduling agreements. Why not bring in BYU with a scheduling agreement aka ACC and Notre Dame? Or start arranging some long term agreements with teams like OKst or Baylor or Iowa State.


Or, long shot, bring in BYU as football only so there are no scenarios in the next few years of people getting only 4 home conference games? I guarantee people will be upset that they have only 4 home conference games when OU and TX have 5.
