Would be amazing, but Big12 is toast. Powers that be want them to fold.
Texas/OU want the Big12 to fold so they don't have to cough up exit money.
SEC want the Big12 to fold for the same reason.
ESPN wants the Big12 to fold because they will probably make a lot of money on the Texas/OU move to the SEC.
I think the odds of the eight teams staying are very low. Ok St probably has some options. Kansas and ISU might have a shot at the Big10. Baylor and TCU probably have no P5 options. If/when the eight teams left turns to 6 or 5 teams left, then what?
