Of course would need some other dominoes but if the big 12 could add Nebraska, would it stabilize it enough to entice AZ, AZ St, maybe CO? Then if they could add any of Houston/BYU/Cincy/UCF. Even if West VA left but they could add NE and some (not necessarily all) of these other schools, it doesn’t make them as good or better than the SEC or Big 10 immediately, but it stabilizes the conference and with the right success between the lines on the field/court it could certainly still be a ‘P5’ caliber conference in people’s perception.
