Hard to kick teams out of conferences, but there are several in the B10, ACC, SEC and P12 that are dead weight. It is almost as if they lucked into their position. Certainly a lot of P5 programs that BYU would be more valuable than if they took their place in a P5 conference.

Lots of options and crazy things being talked about. Wonder if anything comes out of left field due to unforeseen domino effects. Will be fascinating to watch. I think it would be cool if BYU joined the B12 leftovers, but not critical. They have a nice setup with indy and I wouldn't fault them if they declined an invite to a conference that offers nothing more than a modest pay increase with concerns over the conference's longevity.
