The media bias is to blame for people thinking like this. Since they only report it when it’s that breed TYPE (as many supposed pits are not even anything close) and don’t report the numerous attacks and deaths by other breeds.

What if the media ONLY reported when a Mormon murdered someone but rarely reported another religion murdering someone? You’re going to be led to believe that ONLY Mormons are dangerous, but others aren’t. In fact there are tons of stories where dogs that aren’t that type injure and kill people as well. But headlines that say “husky kills baby” or “German Shepherd bites off arm” aren’t as sensational as “pitbull kills”. It’s disgusting the way the media manipulates people into believing what grabs headlines, rather than leading them to the facts.
