Cuz, like Cowherd emphasized many times, Simone's window
of success/failure was much smaller & much less redeemable.
And her audience and world stage is of a much different kind than Jordan's, too.
And Cowherd (who I'm not a great fan of) — he also was speaking in behalf of gymnastic Olympians generally. Their pressure is a whole other animal than those faced by athletes of score-driven, team sports.
I agree with him pretty much in full.
