August will be pretty low opportunity and fairly weak if they do show.

I don’t really think Fairbanks is a great choice for an Alaska vacation.

Agreed it’s not prime time, but I’ve seen decent aurora there in August

Yeah, go to Anchorage instead. (This is 6+ hours away from Fairbanks)

I’d do none in Fairbanks and add 3 to Anchorage/Kenai peninsula
