The problem started with Texas, but ultimately what drives these schools away is the knowledge that their footing is in a conference that others can pick apart. Stability (plus $$$$$$) is what they crave.

It is what is driving TX and OU now. It’s why Kansas and ISU are trying to beg themselves into the B1G. Realignment, like crap in a chute, only flows in one direction. If you’re in a place getting crapped on, you do all you can to move to higher ground.
