This is part of the reason why joining the big 12 if the invite comes could

help us long term over staying independent. I think joining the big 12 even without OU and UT will help improve our rep and prove we’re easy to work and don’t feel like we need to be treated differently. I think Indy was the right move at the time but it allowed the high maintenance rumor to stick.
