need for BYU to join a conference. If the is a 12+ team playoff, then conference affiliation means very little. If you can schedule people and you win, the season goes on.

For that reason I am not all that hyped about joining then Big12. If it makes sense financially, then great. But still, the bottom line is winning. And almost NOTHING else.

So I agree that the start of the season is exciting. As is all the expansion talk. I am hyped about Hall. Our receivers are very good. RBs look very serviceable, at least. But in the end, all that matters is if you win.
