Sounds like a great man. Practicing medicine, a person becomes what their job is. Work comes first, then everything
else (for the most part). It's amazing how many doctors, like your father, are able to do their work and then still accomplish so much more. They sacrifice much of their personal desires to excel in their work and other assignments.
