The team is pretty soft defensively. Not a lot of physicality there. Gay helps but moreso in his ability to play the 5.

Conley, Mitchell, Ingles, Bogey, Clarkson, etc are all soft or slow defensively and imo none of them are great when it comes to guarding athletic guards. And they certainly don't bring any physicality.

Team needs a player with some toughness on the perimeter whether that's a guard off the bench or another wing that is quick and mean.
