I think perimeter defense is an issue for every team. The key is you have to be

able to punish teams for going small or 5-out on the other end. The Jazz weren't able to do that consistently enough against the Clippers. Hopefully these changes give Quin enough flexibility to try things out.

In the previous series, the Mavs went gargantuan and it forced the Clippers away from their small ball lineup.

It's a weakness that I think isn't as weak as last offseason. I think they hope Oni takes some steps forward too.

I like Oni as a situational defender, but have trouble seeing him ever earn rotation minutes.
