Also, BYU’s “issues” vis-à-vis the lgbtqrstuv+ issues have always been overblown and misunderstood IMO (or deliberately blown out of proportion by people with an axe to grind).

If they can get everyone in a room to have reasonable dialogue about what is a nuanced and complex approach to the issue, I think BYU could assuage the leadership of the schools.

The issue about public optics in the minds of the simpleminded media and dishonest activists may never be resolved, however.
