Depends on material, condition, movement, complications
If I had it and wanted to keep it as an heirloom piece, then I would send it to Omega and get it working and refurbished.
If I just wanted an idea of it’s value and it’s components, then take to an authorized dealer.
Or you can post pics of it here - there are a few watch guys here who might be able to point you in the right direction.
