I refuse to go on those social media giants anymore except to check in with family. Ever since I left Facebook there has been an insane number of Facebook ads on my other apps trying to get me to join. It's crazy the amount of money they pour into advertising. Not surprising, but I was floored on how aggressive they would be and how they can track who goes on Facebook and who does not.

AND this is the worst part. Since I go on Facebook so infrequently there has been this fascinating phenomenon with the ads Facebook shows me when I do check it. It doesn't have info on my interests or what products I have come in contact with recently, and so it has reverted to these super skanky ads, we're guessing age demographics are all it has to go off now, which Facebook thinks means only ads with scantily-clad women. So much for a platform with dignity.

And when I do get on I always ask Facebook to not show those type of ads, but it doesn't change the next time I check it. I hate Facebook!! Every ad scrolled past gives them money and allows them to continue!!
