I agree with everything here. I would also add riding the red/purple line up to
Wrigleyville for a Cubs game and then continue north to Evanston. They have a pastry shop called Bennisons that’s a local favorite and just a block off the purple line.
Chicago is probably my favorite city in the US. So much to do. My kids favorites were the Museum of Science and Industry and Navy Pier. They also loved Water Tower Place.
