People here think Whit is the second coming of Lavell - He is not.

He won one conference title in the MWC even though he had twice the NFL draft picks as Bronco. He also finished 3rd four out of his six seasons there.

He has won 0 conference titles in the PAC 12 even though he has had as many draft pics as the top tier programs AND he has come out of a division that is an absolute dumpster fire. The other schools in the PAC 12 South have fired as many coaches (or more) as Whit has won division titles - he isn't competing against high-level competition in the PAC 12 South.

I am not saying he should be fired, but his resume doesn't warrant the accolades he gets on this board.
