Old kids who are expected to be laser focused week in and week out on training right, eating right, school work and trying to fit in a social life in between somewhere. The coaching staff, athletic department and the fans expect them to be laser focused week in and week out on their current opponent and push out the distractions of friends and social media. I admit, I’m worried about how focused they are on ASU after coming off of a great win over our rival. I don’t think it is necessarily fair of me to expect the focus of a seasoned professional week in and week out but I do and for the most part these kids deliver it. I have a few friends who were D-1 athletes and their hard work, dedication, and passion transcends above the sports they played and has bled into everything they do. It is always a great time to be a fan of BYU but our trajectory for the next few years is even more exciting then usual. I hope that our players and staff fight with the same fight they did against Utah and can take down ASU this week! Go Cougs!
