Scott has brought our attention to a major flaw with college football that needs to be rectified
I propose that every stadium be outfitted with a decibel meter. If the noise exceeds a certain threshold, the home team will be penalized so as to protect the health and wellness of the players. The noise will be recorded for every play run by the away team's offense. To make things fair, the crowd must match that level of noise when the home team is on offense. If they don't, they will be penalized. Too many infractions will result in forfeitures. Repeat offender stadiums across multiple games and seasons will be forced to limit crowd capacity.
