I know that seems like a long time. The players that he’s recruiting are going to be with him for 4 years plus 2 mission years. The kids who are graduating high school next year, then serving missions, will have their freshman year in Fall 2024. They need to know he’s going to be there for their whole 4 years at BYU.

I’ve actually flip flopped on this. I didn’t like giving him so long of a contract, making that big of a commitment, but at this point he’s proven that he’s the long term solution at BYU and he’s leading BYU to great success.
