With 16 teams they need to rethink the idea that all conference members should
play everybody often. It simply won’t happen.
Maybe they do pods instead of divisions. Or maybe they just accept the fact that it will take 16 years to cycle through the other division 1 team at a time.
Probably the best way is to just realize they have two mini conferences that meet in an annual championship game.
