Annual meetings of Notre Dame against schools of the Alliance will not be affected.

Nor will the annual SEC/PAC 12 matchups on Labor Day weekend, in Vegas. The first one, in 2024, will feature USC vs LSU.

The scheduling agreement, as outlined last week, will pair similar positioned teams, through the regular season.

The Big Ten and PAC 12 will likely drop to 8 conference games + a home and an away game against a member of the Alliance for a minimum of 10 A5 games a year.

The agreement is for all sports.

They envision a mid-season basketball contest similar to the Big 12 SEC Challenge. There will be 20 matchups involving all 40 schools.

They plan on similar arrangement for baseball and volleyball.
