Unfortunately the Big12's problem is that they don't have a huge brand name any

more. Sure they play good football, but brand name means ways too much in college football and people buy into it. It doesn't matter if you were top ten last year, you'll still be seen as "lesser" to an unranked Texas. BYU may have just become the biggest brand name in the Big12.
